Homelab Haven is an independent, personal blog. This page explains what happens with your data when you visit.

Analytics

This site uses Umami, which I host myself. It is cookieless and records only aggregate page views and referrers, with no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and nothing that identifies you personally. There is no Google Analytics here.

Comments

Comments are stored by a Cloudflare Worker running on this domain. When you leave one, what gets saved is the name you typed (optional, and not verified against anything), the text of your comment, the time you sent it, and which comment it replies to. Nothing that identifies you is kept: no email address, no IP address, no browser fingerprint, no account.

Comments are reviewed before they appear, so yours will not be visible right away. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-spam check that loads from Cloudflare and does not profile you the way an advertising captcha does. If you want a comment removed, mail hello@homelabhaven.com and it goes.

Advertising and cookies

This site shows ads through Google AdSense (auto ads). Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Where required by law (including for visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK), a consent message from Google Funding Choices appears on your first visit, letting you accept or decline these cookies.

Third-party links

Posts here sometimes link out to other sites, tools, or vendor documentation. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.

This page may be updated if what the site does changes, for example if analytics or additional ad-supported features are added later.
